AMOTHERBY and Swinton lost their first division two game of the season when they went down at White Horse Church Fenton 2-1.

After a blank first half, John Williams gave the hosts the lead which was doubled with Tom Daniels' first goal in three years.

A Johnny Dunning penalty reduced the arrears but it failed to prevent White Horse claiming all three points and moving up three places to second.

Leaders Heslington maintained their 100 per cent home record at the expense of Civil Service with a 5-1 win.

Richard Burrows gave the visitors an early lead but Danny Walters hit his seventh goal of the season to level the scores.

Martin Clark gave the home side the lead but the introduction of subs Alex West and Stuart Dickenson proved to be decisive as both scored, the latter collecting two.

Barmby Moor slipped to their fifth consecutive defeat after the visit of Fulford.

Tom Gibson gave them the advantage on 25 minutes but second half strikes from Dave Aldridge, Phil Grayson and Gavin Wilkinson sealed Fulford's third away win on the bounce.

Strensall's last win was against Stillington but they could not repeat the achievement when the sides met again in the bottom of the table clash.

A goal in each half from Phil Beal and Steve Johnson saw the hosts avenge the earlier defeat and take their points tally to seven from their last three games.
