SUDAN has nothing much the wealthy G8 countries need, so nothing much is done to ease the plight of the bitterly oppressed there.
The United Nations has wasted time and opportunities and their latest pronouncement that the murderous activities of the Sudanese government do not constitute genocide is unhelpful.
If the Sudan had been a major oil supplier Tony Blair and George Bush would have been straight in uttering platitudes about freedom and human rights.
But they have no time to spend on a bunch of no-hopers living in tattered tents. Tony and George have got far too much to do planning the invasion of Iran.
