Aldershot Town could be forgiven for thinking they have never played City before when they see the team sheet tomorrow with the amount of changes since their last meeting.
City went head to head with the Shots on the opening day of the season.
But only TWO of the Minstermen that strode out on that day will be likely to feature tomorrow, epitomising the chop-and-change nature of the hosts' season so far.
Back on August 14, now departed Paul Crichton was in goal with Chris Porter on the bench. Crichton was behind a back four of then player-manager Chris Brass, Chris Clarke, Steve Davis and Shaun Smith.
Brass, no longer manager, is now awaiting cruciate surgery, Clarke has signed for Halifax, and both Davis and Smith are injured.
Paul Groves started at Aldershot in midfield and will start tomorrow - but at centre-back, alongside loan star Jon Maloney.
Darren Dunning is suspended after a red card against Leigh RMI last week.
Gary Pearson is waiting to undergo shoulder surgery, and he and Bryan Stewart have since been replaced by Dave Merris and fellow emerging youngster Byron Webster.
Up front, England National Game XI striker Andy Bishop is the only other player besides Groves to feature both times. Bishop did play alongside the same name but a different player as Paul D Robinson is set to start on the bench while his younger counterpart Paul Robinson takes over in the front-line.
City lost 2-0 on that first day, so it will be interesting to see if the change in staff will bring about a change of result.
Yorkie Bars - the City fans' football team - have crashed out of the IFA Cup at Huddersfield on penalties.
Tom Oxley did an 'Andy Bishop' and fired Yorkies in front with a 20-yard free-kick but an equaliser three minutes from time forced the shoot-out.
All five takers from both teams converted successfully from the spot but Huddersfield went on to clinch a 10-9 sudden death victory.
