I WRITE in response to the smoking ban in York pubs (January 25).
It should be what people want - separate rooms for smokers.
Like me, many people like a chat and smoke while having a drink and lots of men prefer a smoke with their pint.
I can't see the pubs with a smoking ban taking as much cash as those which allow smoking.
It is getting to a stage where we can't do what we would like.
