York City fans hoping for answers from ex-chairman John Batchelor at the next Harrogate Minstermen meeting will have to wait.
The supporters' group had pencilled him in as the special guest for the February meeting on Monday prompting widespread interest.
But it has now been announced that current players David Stockdale and Jon Maloney will attend. Batchelor may appear in the future.
Stockdale has become a huge favourite with the fans during his impressive spell in the first team this season, while Maloney is the latest centre-half to arrive on loan during a much-maligned campaign for City defenders from Doncaster Rovers.
Travel bookings can also be made for the forthcoming home matches against Woking and Exeter City, away coaches to Forest Green Rovers, Carlisle United and Halifax Town, plus flight details from Newcastle Airport for the long trip to Exeter City on Tuesday, February 22.
The doors will be thrown open to Harrogate Minstermen members and non-members for the friendly and informal night in the company of other York City supporters, with any fans in the area on the night welcome to go along.
The meeting is at the Ivy Cottage pub, Stockwell Lane, Knaresborough, starting at 8pm.
