Heworth ARLC Under-16s continued their good run with a 20-6 derby victory over York Acorn.
The young Villagers went ahead through Blaney after good work from Pallister and, with Danny Allen and Imi Lewis also scoring in the first half, improved by two goals from the excellent Ben Potter, Heworth led 16-0 at the break.
Acorn fought back early in the second period with a converted try but, in what was a scrappy half, Heworth, for whom Winskill, Knowles and Mackarel also impressed, replied through Pallister.
Man of the match Jack Powell caused Eastmoor all sorts of problems and scored a deserved try as York Acorn U14s won 54-6.
Further tries followed from Danny Leahy (2), James Bromwich, Nathan Potter, Danny Lee, Thomas Wadsworth (2), Zac Agar, Oliver Hare, Billy Clint and Dave Magson as the young Blue and Golds stayed top of the table.
Hat-trick hero Joe Dey kick-started a ten-try 54-6 mauling over Doncaster Toll Bar as New Earswick U12s took their winning run to 14.
Joel Johnson rallied unselfishly, putting Tom Barron and Eric Hall over, while Connor Thirlway's support and strength in the pack earned himself a brace. Liam Dawson, Kieran O'Mally and Chris McBurnie also crossed, while Dean Layton goaled seven.
Selby Warriors U12s' impressive form continued as they beat Whinmoor Warriors for the first time, 38-8.
A well worked move involving coaches' choice Josh Parkin, Danny Jamieson and Arron Sharpe saw prop Josh Skilbeck break the deadlock, flying centre Chappell added a brace and captain Parkin also crossed before Skilbeck ended the scoring after a powerful 70-metre run. Smith and Bell topped the tackle count and Stringer was most improved.
Try-machine Ryan Gallacher crossed four times as York Acorn U11s came from 14-0 down early in the second half to beat Headingley Hawks 24-18.
Gallacher, who was joint-man of the match with Danny Atkins, completed a hat-trick and Ryan Duffell added extras as Acorn drew level, and a cheeky Karl Read try put them ahead.
Good second-half teamwork was to the fore as Gallacher took Atkins' pass to get his fourth to seal the win.
Liam Jackson side-stepped several defenders late on to give Heworth U10s victory over Milford in a thriller.
Heworth got off to a flying start when speedy winger Alex Clough ran the length of the pitch to score, Jackson goaling, but Milford scored a try and conversion either side of half-time to lead 12-6.
Ollie Murphy got Heworth back into it when carrying six defenders over the line, and with time running out man of match Jackson got the winner, converted by most improved player Billy Legg. Spencer Mitchell topped the tackle count.
