EXCITING times are ahead, judging by the ideas premiered at this year's Venturefest.
The exhibition allowed young Yorkshire entrepreneurs to showcase their inventions including everything from a greener form of diesel to personalised coffee mugs.
The pioneering spirit and creative thinking that has turned York into a Science City could be seen at every stand.
More than 2,000 people attended the event. They came away from York Racecourse knowing Britain's reputation as a world-beating innovator is safe in these young hands.
