I AGREE with Bill Murphy - a great night was had by all at the Wildcats Rock'n'Roll night, but he goes on to say that other WMCs should do the same (Letters, January 27).
Does he not know that the Crescent WMC in York has been doing this every four to five weeks for the last 13 years? All the top British bands have played at the Blossom Street venue, as have American originals such as Charlie Gracie, The Crickets and Ray Campi.
The next date at the club is February 12 with popular local band The Infernos. We are alive and attract young and old, so come along and see we too have got it right.
