IT seems that last week's Holocaust Remembrance Day was in some ways misnamed.
In a world where we had a three-minute silence to observe the tragic events of the Asian Tsunami, a natural disaster which unfortunately we couldn't prevent from happening, there was not even a minute put aside for the nation to observe the terrible, man-made disaster that was the Holocaust, when millions of Jews, disabled people, gipsies, intellectuals and countless others were wiped out.
Ethnic cleansing is still going on in parts of the world. People need to think about the consequences of this and what can be done to prevent it.
