SO BJ Rye thinks it's fun to be injured by a buggy which has not been paid for (Letters, January 19). The buggies take up more room than a passenger who has paid the necessary fare.
I travel by bus every day. If there was a convenient bus which did not allow buggies I would travel by it.
I challenge First York to make an official statement on this subject. The drivers couldn't care less. It is sufficient for them to make their journey in the allotted time.
Let the parents walk into town with their buggies, as our parents did. By the look of some of the mothers, they could do with the exercise.
Mrs M Pierotti,
Melton Avenue,
York.
