IF you fancy a spin around York we have just the thing. A giant wheel is planned for the riverside which would give fantastic views of our city.
The attraction will be a major tourist attraction. For proof we only need look at the London Eye, which eclipsed the Dome as a Millennium favourite.
It is no coincidence that the company behind the idea wants to bring the wheel to York in Royal Ascot year. Take along your binoculars and it would be a fabulous vantage point to watch the Prince Of Wales' Stakes.
As long as the wheel is not installed by the same people who gave us the Stonebow bollard, we say give it a whirl.
