York City Knights' development chiefs with be staging their latest primary schools' tag rugby league competition tomorrow.
Seven teams from five schools are expected to take part at Huntington School's Astroturf pitch, gaining their first experience of playing competitive rugby league.
The Knights have now taken their development scheme to 60 primary schools in readiness for the big tag rugby league festival tournament planned for April.
Knights development officer Jason Ramshaw said: "These are schools who have not had involvement in rugby league, and this is giving them a bit of experience."
The competing schools tomorrow are Escrick, Riccall, Sutton-on-Forest, Derwent and Naburn.
