HALF-WAY house was reached by Harrogate Town, who made sure of their passage into a quarter-final tie at Selby Town in the West Riding County Cup next Tuesday.
Town toppled Armthorpe Welfare 5-0 last night at Wetherby Road where two weeks earlier they had blasted the same opposition 10-0 only for the tie to have to be replayed because an ineligible player had been fielded.
On target for Town in last night's nap hand were Lee Morris, Dominic Krief, Colin Hunter, Simon Sturdy and Sam Warburton.
Meanwhile, Pickering Town's return to Northern Counties East League premier division duty was halted when the visit of Brodsworth Welfare was postponed because the Recreation Ground was water-logged.
Goole reinforced fourth position by eking a valuable 1-1 draw from third-placed Sheffield.
Harrogate Railway, however, will be bidding to close the gap on leaders Selby Town to three points if they can force victory out of their visitors Thackley tonight.
