WHEN the hunting ban comes into force, and the rules are written in black and white, then the police will know what to do to any law-breaker - fine them, or jail them. New laws are made all the time, the police seem to cope, no difference there.
Inspector Burnett seems to think the law is unclear (January 18). When he meets with the Government and the RSPCA and other animal bodies, the law will be clear as daylight - chasing and killing a sentient being (eg a fox) is cruel, following a drag or trial hunts is not.
Easy when you know the difference.
