AFTER Paul Hepworth's letter about the abuse of disabled parking spaces (January 17), I have been spurred to vent my frustration about "parent and child parking".
I go to Tesco's with my family on a regular basis and often see individuals parking in these bays with no children in tow.
This leaves us to dodge the cars as we make our way into the store.
I believe I'm right in saying Tesco's has increased the number of parent and child parking bays recently, but unless they can be monitored and appropriate action taken against offenders Mr Hepworth and myself will remain annoyed at their selfish behaviour.
Finally, the parent and child bays are nearly or full all of the time, the disabled bays on the other hand are often only half full.
Could both sections park in each other's bays?
