YORK City goalkeeper David Stockdale is auctioning off the gloves he wore for England's non-League XI to raise funds for the Supporters Trust.
On-line bids have already reached £75 for the gloves Stockdale played in against an Italian Serie C representative side earlier this season and fans will get the opportunity to better that amount at York Minstermen's monthly meeting next Thursday.
Former goalkeeping favourite Graeme Crawford and Stockdale will be the supporters' group's guests and bidding will close at the end of the night.
The gloves are signed and dated by Stockdale, who said: "I know the club is not in the best financial situation and it's only a little gesture but the club deserves something back for what I experienced because they gave me the chance.
"I've decided I can give the gloves away because I have still got lots of mementoes including an England shirt, ball and cap."
