TADCASTER Albion boss Jim Collis is hoping rest leads to reinvigoration and rejuvenation rather than rustiness and relapse.
His side have played only one game since before Christmas - the goalless draw at Lincoln Moorlands - due to postponements, but rather than being off the pace, Collis wants them to come back firing away to South Normanton.
Taddy lie sixth in Northern Counties East League division one but are in touch with the leaders and Collis is keen they press on in a bid to join their North Yorkshire neighbours in the top tier.
"We've even missed training in the last two weeks because of our ground conditions but it can go two ways," said Collis. "I hope we come back really looking forward to it and bouncing, instead of just going through the same rigmarole every week without a break. We will see tomorrow.
"I'm hoping to give them a decent talking to, to set our stall out and see if we're good enough to go up or even win the league. It's up to us. We've got the players."
