HEY, it could be 1987 again! Where Our Love Grows follows the blueprint of Swing Out Sister's mega-selling It's Better To Travel from 18 years ago very faithfully indeed, but that's no bad thing.
The gorgeous Corinne Drewery and instrumentalist Andy Cornell honed an R&B style that's still distinctly their own: a delightful cocktail of light, frothy jazz and Latin rhythms colouring a strong melody influenced by Burt Bacharach, John Barry and Ennio Morricone. Admirers of Dusty Springfield will love this collection of cinematic delights, especially Love Won't Let You Down and the title track. Come on! Wake up and smell the cappuccino. Swing Out Sister are still a cracking band.
