Hat-trick winger Daniel Simpson catapulted York under-18s rugby union development squad to a stylish 52-0 win over Selby with three tries in less than 15 minutes.
Selby's defence seemed vulnerable when the ball was kicked to them and York number eight Alex Rogers capitalised to beat the cover defence and score under the posts.
York increased their lead following a clean lineout take by Alex MacNeil. The ball was spun wide to James Lund, who scored.
Mark McDaid rounded off the half with a flourish after scything through the defence to make it 40-0 at half time.
Selby crept into the game more but York, who were fielding several U17 players, held them off.
McDaid added his second try after getting on the end of a slick passing move, and Alistair Snook took York over the 50-point mark with a final try, Jonathan Henley kicking a sixth conversion.
