THIRTEEN proved mightily unlucky for Haxby Town as they were hammered by Pickering Town 'A' in the second round of the York Mitchell Sports Football League Cup.
David Thompson and Jonny Birbeck both scored hat-tricks and Luke McLaren and Bradley Magson got braces with Lyle King, Adam Parker and an own goal completing the rout.
An Alistair Cope hat-trick helped Ulleskelf from division two beat Poppleton 'A'. Robbie Hardy also scored with Josh Hughes replying.
Simon Reeves was another treble scorer as Brooklyn beat Wigginton Grasshoppers 7-1. Other goals came from Matthew Reeves, Edward Marwood, Kaine Woods and Matthew Shipley. George Green hit Grasshoppers' reply.
Chris Grant (2), Jason Nattrass and Tom Connell were on target as Dunnington beat Stamford Bridge 4-2, while James Keller was a double scorer in Rawclffe's 8-0 defeat of Poppleton 'B'.
Sam Atwell's brace saw Heworth beat Pocklington Town 2-1, while James Edmond was the hat-trick hero for Bishopthorpe White Rose as they beat Hamilton Panthers 4-3. Stevie Hood also scored, while Tom Medd (2) and Jordan Ridsdell netted for Hamilton.
Toby McInnis (2) and Alex Green sent Copmanthorpe through to the second round of the Mitchell Plate after beating New Earswick.
Strensall and Easingwold Town 'B' had to be separated by penalties after a 1-1 draw after extra time, Town winning 3-2 on spot-kicks.
