WE believe Councillor Watson is scraping the bottom of the bin-bag trying to make a political point (January 13).
We have lived in the centre of York for the last six years and have never received a free bin-bag. During this time we have had Labour and Liberal-controlled councils.
We have also complained many times to our local councillor, Coun Watson, about rubbish in the streets from takeaways. How many new takeaways have been approved since he became chairman of the planning committee?
