Josh Peacock was the star as York Acorn U13s continued to show improvement when they overcame a resilient Stanningley 26-8.
The Leeds side opened the scoring and had the better of the first period but outstanding defence kept them to a solitary score, while the strength and pace of Peacock brought him two first half tries with one converted by Antony Chilton.
The second period belonged to Acorn with man of the match Peacock adding a further brace and Stuart Leeke also deservedly crossing. Chilton added two more conversions before the visitors got a late consolation.
Craig Richardson scored a hat-trick as New Earswick All Blacks U13s hammered Rodley Rockets 44-2.
All Blacks, who have lost just once this season, scored first and from that moment there was no stopping them, with other tries coming from man of the match Chris Chaplin, Nathan Tupman, Matty Gell, Haiden Barber, Jack Carling and Josh Cunningham-Evans (2).
Ash Richmond was most improved, while Tupman, who has not had a bad game to date, was top tackler.
Half-back Tom Barron was man of the match as title-challengers New Earswick U12s in their first game back after Christmas by swaggering to a 28-0 defeat of Whinmoor.
Dean Layton and Chris McBernie both notched braces, while Joel Johnson and Louis Pool, with a fine individual score, also crossed, with Barron and Layton adding goals. Top tackler was Joel Johnson, parents' player was Jacob Mawer and most improved was Chris McBernie. Prop Eric Hall also impressed.
Spencer Mitchell and Alex Clough bagged braces as Heworth U10s continued their good form with a hard-fought win over Headingley.
Daniel Coulson and Peter Clarke also crossed, with Liam Jackson and Harry Deighton adding goals. Thomas Atkinson and Ben Barker were the men of the match, William Barratt was most improved and Mitchell topped the tackle count.
