New Earswick All Blacks ARLC will look to build on the success of last year's Polar Ford Cup when the West Indies Rugby League Federation return to White Rose Avenue in 2005.
The match played in August 2004 saw a Windies squad, made up of mainly UK-based Super League Academy players, take on the All Blacks in a showpiece game.
A provisional date of August 13 has been pencilled in for the 2005 fixture and the All Blacks are seeking sponsors for the event. Details are available from Mark Tipping on email marktipping@ allblacks.fsnet.co.uk or telephone 07810 407167.
To whet the appetite, a video of the 2004 clash will be screened after New Earswick's GMB Union National Cup tie against Conference outfit Askam at White Rose Avenue this Saturday.
Defence proved the best form of attack for Heworth under-16s as they stormed into the semi-finals of their league cup with a 10-4 defeat of Stanningley.
Heworth took the lead after five minutes through debutant Danny Allan but Stanningley powered over the line in the dying seconds of the half to equalise.
Several tries early in the second half were ruled out for forward passes before Allan ran the full length of the park only to be brought agonisingly short.
But the signs were still encouraging with man of the match Sam Blaney and Craig Winskill working tirelessly before the elusive Peace finally stepped his way through the Stanningley defence for Heworth's deserved second try.
Potter added the conversion to make it 10-4 and Heworth soaked up the last of the Stanningley attacks to book a place in the semi-finals after probably their best performance of the season so far.
Selby Warriors U12s will have the honour of playing in a curtain-raiser to the Featherstone Rovers v Hull game on Sunday, against Stanningley U12s.
Ten per cent of the gate money will be given to the Tsunami appeal. The curtain raiser will kick off at 1.45 with the main game at 3pm.
