Selby Town and Harrogate Railway are both facing Northern Counties East League Cup replays after being held to draws in the third round last night.
Selby, the premier division leaders, could only draw 2-2 with first division Gedling Town at Flaxley Road - and they twice needed to come from behind to do it.
Gedling had been beaten by Tadcaster Albion in the previous round but Taddy were disqualified for fielding an ineligible player meaning it was the Nottinghamshire side who went through.
In a scrappy first half there were few chances for either side but the game sparked into life after the break when Gedling took the lead with a penalty after 57 minutes, Anderson hitting the target.
Three minutes later things got worse for the Robins when Adam Sadler was sent off after bringing down Vitale when through on goal.
Selby fought back well and equalised in the 83rd minute when Joe Connor curled a free-kick against the bar and Adam Wash knocked in the rebound to send the game into extra time.
However, Gedling went back in front in the 94th minute when Kennerdrift finished well, but five minutes later they were also reduced to ten men when Hatton was sent off after fouling Cameron Stuart on the edge of the penalty area.
The second period of extra time saw the Robins get on top and in the 110th minute Tom Reid fired in the leveller, but they were unable to grab the winner and now face a trip to Gedling.
Harrogate Railway, third in the premier division, also drew 2-2 against a division one side, Carlton Town, to schedule a home replay. Dates for the replays have not yet been confirmed.
Pickering Town bowed out to high-flying premier division rivals Sheffield despite taking a first-half lead.
Mark Swales had already had a goal ruled out for off-side before he ran onto a flicked-on goal kick, cut in from the right and unleashed an unstoppable 18-yard shot.
But Sheffield, gunning for revenge for the FA Vase defeat earlier in the campaign, were level before half-time when Caine Cheetham capitalised on a poor clearance to score at the near post.
Cheetham struck again from close range on the hour mark to seal the win and set up an interesting league fixture between the sides on Saturday.
Goole powered past Glasshoughton 3-1 to book their place in the next round - after the fifth match between the two this season.
