THERE is no doubting it - Paul Roberts, of Harrogate, is a man of distinction.
Paul, of Broker Network Ltd, Harrogate, is one of only seven delegates throughout the UK to be awarded a distinction in the certificate and diploma programmes of the Institute of Directors (IoD). He was among a group which achieved outstanding results at Leeds Business School's Centre For Director Education, where delegates taking the IoD certificate achieved a 100 per cent pass rate, with those taking the IoD diploma not far behind them, at 95 per cent.
John Thompson, regional director of the IoD in Yorkshire, said: "Beating off such strong competition is a fantastic achievement for Yorkshire directors, and we are fortunate to have the excellent resources of Leeds Business School so close to hand."
The IoD directors certificate and diploma programmes offer delegates the opportunity to broaden their skills and provide them with the essential knowledge to directly enhance their organisation's performance.
Leeds Business School now offers the IoD's non-executive director programmes for the public, not-for-profit and private sectors.
