SINNINGTON sneaked above Black Swan Pickering in division one of the RJF Homes Beckett League after a 2-2 draw with Heslerton.
A deflected Curtis Drummond free kick and a Lee Clayton strike put Heslerton two goals in front but Sinnington subs Gary Mitchell and Wayne Moon levelled the match to keep Heslerton, who play Kirkdale United in a rearranged fixture next Saturday, still next to bottom.
Second division leaders Slinsgby beat Norton United Reserves 5-0 courtesy of a Darren Dyer double and singles for Steve Hodgson, Cirk Newton and first-time scorer Darren Smith.
Ampleforth moved up to fourth after a 3-1 home defeat of Union Rovers 2nds.
Dave Wallinger nailed a first-half brace before Colin Casey pulled one back for Rovers and substitute Richard Abbey banged in Ampleforth's third.
Five goals and two red cards at Carlton United made for an exciting match but St Clement's WMC came off worst.
Iain McKeown and Jonathan Pearson put Carlton ahead but Neil Foster and John Alcock, who was sent off in the second half, levelled for St Clement's. McKeown scored a second - and ultimately the winner - before they lost Gavin Skaife for most of the match after a nasty tackle.
Matches at Rosedale, Kirkdale United, Duncombe Park and Coxwold were all postponed because of the weather.
Gillamoor reached the semi-finals of the Ryedale Hospital Cup with a 1-0 win at Old Malton 3rds, Gary Stamper scoring the only goal of the game after turning his marker.
