DEPARTED York City Knights centre Chris Langley, the Knights' top try-scorer last season, scored four first-half tries for Doncaster Dragons in their pre-season friendly against Hunslet yesterday.
Former Knights winger Craig Farrell played in the centre for the Dragons, while ex-Knight loanee Dale Cardoza scored a try from loose-forward as they beat the Knights' National League Two rivals 56-20.
York face the Dragons, of NL1, in a Huntington Stadium friendly on Sunday.
Former team-mate Danny Brough, who broke York's goal-kicking records last season, played in the second half as his new club, Super League side Hull, beat Hull KR 54-12 in front of 14,540 at the KC Stadium.
Hull coach John Kear said Brough had "come on and contributed very well". The Knights play Hull in a friendly at the KC on Wednesday, January 26.
