The top two sides in Leeper Hare York and District League division three have edged five points clear of the rest of the pack after they both secured wins by the odd goal.
John Dent gave Huby the lead at leaders Sheriff Hutton, the first goal they had conceded for three games.
Ross Moyniham scored the hosts' 50th goal of the season to equalise and just before the break Kevin Butler, with his tenth goal of the season, scored what proved to be the winner.
Wheldrake, still looking for their first win of the season, took an early lead at home to Hemingbrough courtesy of an own goal. But goals from Richard Singh and Danny Smith put the visitors ahead before the break.
A Robin Cockrill free-kick levelled it at 2-2, but a Richie Collins goal ten minutes from time ensured Hemingbrough collected maximum points.
Rawcliffe's cavalier style paid dividends again as they beat LNER Builders 6-2 at home.
Geoff Hunter put the hosts in front before Tudor Carrington's tenth goal of the season made it 1-1. But before the break Shane Brandon restored Rawcliffe's lead. His brother Darren made it 3-1 and Ricky Hunter extended their lead with Rawcliffe's fourth.
Gareth Watkins reduced the arrears for the Builders but Ricky Hunter completed his hat-trick.
History was also repeated at Norton, who beat visitors Heworth 4-1 for the second successive year. Ben Branigan hit Heworth's lone reply.
