It is nice to see our prime minister has returned from his holiday to assure us everything is being done to help the victims of the disaster in Asia. Also that he was organising everything from a distance and he was solely in charge, although he did delegate a bit.
It was also good of him to assure the British people that his government would match pound for pound the generous donations they have all made.
But hasn't he forgotten one thing?
It is our money in any case.
Nobody would begrudge a single penny to help these poor victims but Mr Blair should remember the cash that is sent is not from the British Government but from the British people as a whole, regardless of colour, class or creed.
