YORK's open-top tour bus company has donated a day's takings to the tsunami appeal.
Top Line Travel gave up all £283 in fares on December 27 to the growing fund.
Meanwhile, a collection for the victims of the Asian disaster raised £826 at the New Year's Day meet of the Derwent Hunt at Thornton-le-Dale.
Other fundraising events planned include a coffee morning at the Methodist Chapel in Skipwith, Selby, on Saturday, from 10am to noon and a coffee morning and cake stall at Hambleton village hall, also on Saturday, between 10am and noon.
