Fulford Reserves belied their lowly league position when they travelled to second placed Thomas's Hotel and came away with a well- deserved point from a rip-roaring 5-5 division five encounter.
Two goals from Terry Taylor and one from Dave Williams all from 30-yard free-kicks added to a Henry Smith solo effort for Thomas were negated by Fenwick (2), Barrett and Jewitt in a tremendous first half.
The second period was no less sedate and the only surprise was that the only goals came from a Ben Wilson strike that put Fulford in front before Steve Scott rescued a point for Thomas's with a last minute 25-yarder.
Quaker Wood could have put themselves four points clear but went down to a surprise 2-1 defeat at Firkin 103.
Hodson and Hird gave the home side a two-goal advantage within the first 15 minutes. Bruce pulled one back and despite their best efforts Quaker Wood could not find an equaliser.
Goals from Brandon and Hartas were not enough as Wanderers went down to a 3-2 defeat at home to CPP. Sean Stockdale scored twice as Wrights Sports Bar won by the same score at Cawood.
A single strike from Ranby earned Selby Griffin all three points at Edinburgh Arms.
Hat-trick man Parkin-Coates proved the difference as Holgate WMC won 6-3 at home to Pocklington Rangers for whom Cameron scored twice.
