PICKERING Town moved up to fourth in the Northern Counties East League premier division after a 5-0 win at Maltby Main.
Mike NcNaughton opened the scoring and Alex Willgrass doubled the visitors' advantage from the penalty spot. Further goals from Danny Brunton, Gavin Dickenson and Seb Towse sealed victory.
Selby Town and Harrogate Railway currently occupy the top two positions but Pikes' boss Alex Mathie, whose side has games in hand, believes all three teams will be vying for the title come next May.
He said: "Selby have been the best side we've faced but I think all three of us will be up there challenging."
