A MEMORIAL fund established after a Ryedale hospital worker was killed in a road accident at Malton has reached £7,000.
Celtic FC fan Joanna Rookes, 35, from Malton, was killed when she was knocked down by a car in Newbiggin in January.
The fund, run by St Leonard & St Mary's Church, Malton, received a £1,116 boost after a disco at Ryedale Bowling Club.
The cash is being used for library improvements at St Mary's RC School, Malton.
