Sheriff Hutton have gone back to the top of Leeper Hare York and District League division three after being the only one of the top eight sides on Saturday to win.
They beat the previous leaders Moor Lane 2-0 with goals from Jamie Tymon and Mathew Hartas.
York RI dropped out of the promotion places after losing 2-1 to Norton. John Dunne and Stuart Ellis scored for the home side.
Bishop Wilton scored their first win of the season, beating fellow strugglers Cawood at home 5-4.
The hosts were 3-0 up in the first half hour with goals from Dave Burrows (2), and Joe Robson. The visitors came back into the game and despite Burrows completing a hat-trick the game was level at 4-4 but Nathan Booth hit the winner in the last five minutes for Bishop Wilton.
Two well executed free kicks from Richard Jennison, the second from the touchline some 35 yards out, set up a 3-2 win for Huby at Wheldrake. Arthur Broadbent added Huby's third goal with Darren Malloy and Gareth Jones scoring for Wheldrake.
Heworth turned round two goals up at home to LNER Builders through Dan Walton and Ben Branigan and when the latter added his second of the game they must have assumed they had done enough, but goals from Tudor Carrington and Mark Rollinson ensured a tight finish, with the home side just holding out.
Darren Brandon gave Rawcliffe an early lead at home to Tadcaster but Richard Hare equalised before Ricky Hunter restored Rawcliffe's lead just before the break.
On the hour the home side were reduced to 10 men but they still managed to hold onto their lead until the final minute when, from a Tadcaster corner, Richard Hare scrambled home his second of the game.
