CHRISTMAS shoppers were treated to an eyebrow-raising fashion show in a York department store.
Crowds of people put down their shopping bags to watch the spectacle in the window of Brown's of York, in Parliament Street.
Scantily-clad models sashayed down the catwalk in lingerie and nightwear, and two male models set pulses racing with a display of casual wear and underwear.
Accompanying the men was Brown's beauty department assistant Stephanie Barlow.
In addition, some of North Yorkshire's most glamorous non-models strutted their stuff to the music of Frank Sinatra.
The mothers and teachers from Pocklington Montessori School modelled a range of evening wear.
Among them was Sara Waddington, mother of triplets, who recently emerged radiant from a humiliating Trinny and Susannah makeover on BBC's What Not To Wear programme.
Brown's merchandise controller Karen Dhir said: "Sara's looking fabulous.
"She's in great shape and all the models are drawing great interest from the public outside the store."
Montessori School principal Rosie Pressland and her colleagues donated their time and energy as a thank you to Brown's for kick-starting the school's Seeds For Africa fundraising campaign for 2004-5.
