THE winner of the Evening Press energy makeover competition believes she was destined to win - because of her surname.
Judy Watt, from Hamilton Drive, York, was first out of the hat and will receive prizes worth more than £2,200, including a top-of-the-range energy-efficient Whirlpool washer, an A-rated condensing boiler - and energy-saving lightbulbs.
Judy, 65, who correctly identified the mystery catchphrase, is a prolific entrant of our competitions and has previously won two weekends away and a celebrity trivia game.
We teamed up with the Energy Efficiency Advice Centre for the contest in an effort to raise awareness during National Energy Efficiency Week.
"I can't believe I've won," Judy said.
"It's a brilliant prize. We've got our house on the market at the moment so wherever we buy is going to look brilliant.
"I must have been born to win with my surname!"
Laura Collins, manager of the Energy Efficiency Advice Centre, said: "We're delighted for Mrs Watt."
