DON'T you love it when the hunt people claim that fox hunting is humane and not cruel?
Would they say the same if it was a loved one in place of the fox, being chased to exhaustion and then torn to bits by hounds? I somehow doubt it.
I said this to a hunt person once and they were horrified, saying 'that's barbaric'(exactly!) and 'It's not the same'.
No, it's not the same. A fox is smaller, for one point, and is unable to say 'stop'. At least a human would be able to understand why they are surrounded by dogs wishing to kill them.
All this done for human pleasure. It disgusts me to the core.
