You appear to be making the same errors as the London nationals, that is, forgetting where your readers live and how far your boundaries reach (Turning the tables, November 24).
Fulford School must be very proud of reaching 320 in the Sunday Times rankings - so much better than Tadcaster Grammar which reached 19!
Please remember Tadcaster students are local too and would love praise for their hard work.
And I'm sure Geoff Smith (whoever he is) is very proud to be quoted as head of Tadcaster - except that he's not! Stephen Smith is head of Fulford and Geoff Mitchell is head of Tadcaster - and a very good job he appears to be doing too.
