IMPLEMENTING a new shift system to improve efficiency and increase production will provide a welcome challenge for Liz Dawson, the new Sundora Foods recruit.
Liz has joined the Pocklington dried fruit company, which has 180-plus employees, as human resources manager.
She will be a key figure when the shift system goes live in January, and be on hand to resolve any queries that arise from employees following the working changes.
"It's going to be a busy few months with the implementation of the new shift system, but it's a challenge I'm looking forward to," said Liz, whose previous employers include Glaxo SmithKline and Unilever.
"I've joined Sundora Foods because it's an ambitious company which is driving forward and will provide excellent experience in a buoyant sector within the food and drinks industry.
"These are exciting times for Sundora given the sustained growth of the dried fruit market, and I look forward to being part of a successful team."
Liz is a member of the Chartered Institute Of Personnel Development, the professional body for human resources practitioners, and has a masters degree in human resources management.
