AFTER finally receiving a call from the planning officer at City of York Council regarding the application for a refuelling depot on Leeman Road, I am all the more concerned.
Further information has been requested by the planning office for more analysis on the likely effects of the development (neighbours never again getting a good night's sleep is obviously not enough).
However, only 102 letters have been sent to local residents. I wonder how many more residents will actually be affected by the likely noise, air and light pollution.
Everyone should know what could happen to the quality of their lives if this application is allowed to go ahead.
All complaints must be sent to the council quoting reference 04/03870/FUL. Notices should go up on the site itself and individuals will then have the right to comment for 21 days only.
