A YORK woman wants to take the worry out of going out to work and leaving your child with a nanny.
Caroline Lee's own nanny agency, in Alexander Avenue, Huntington, is aimed at matching up children with the right nanny.
She said: "Our agency will find an appropriate carer that has experience to match your needs. My intention is to bring the right people together. We realise parents need to be comfortable that they have chosen the right carer for their children and to achieve that aim we establish what your bespoke needs are."
To that end, Caroline goes out to meet families in their homes to get a better idea of the needs of the children and parents.
Now Caroline has been nominated for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award, and her Caroline Lee Nanny Agency is competing for the Small Business of the Year title in the 2004 Evening Press Business of the Year Awards.
Caroline gained her understanding of what was required when looking after children when she helped with her younger siblings, and watching her parents who fostered babies and young children.
In her adult life, Caroline qualified as a nanny, going on to work with many families, nurseries and companies abroad before setting up her own business.
