I WAS amused at the sign in the flower bed near the walls on Lendal Bridge regarding First transforming travel.
The number one route, for some reason, has been transformed into a nightmare for those of us living in Wigginton, Haxby and New Earswick.
This route is far too long, from Wigginton to Chapelfields. Why can't they split it into two routes? Having one bus travelling from Chapelfields and looping back through Station Rise and another bus from Wigginton looping back, again through Station Rise back to Wigginton.
At present any little incident causes chaos on this route. Last night we waited one hour for the bus then, as regularly happens, night and day, three arrived together.
This morning I waited half an hour then three came. There is supposed to be a bus every ten minutes.
