A SORRY second-half show saw Selby lose 31-13 to hosts Beverley and drop four places in Yorkshire One.
Selby gave as good as they got in the first half to lead 13-12 but their kicking game went awry after the interval as the hosts ran in 19 unanswered points.
Trailing 6-0, Selby countered with a try from hooker Shane Sellers, converted by Dan Porter. Two other Porter penalties put them in front only to be undone in the second half.
