IT seems that Islington in North London, which has a ruling Lib Dem council, has, against the wishes of Christian parents in the area, decided that the practice of calling schools after saints or bishops has to stop because it alienates people of other faiths.

I noticed that the London Diocesan Board hasn't put up a fight over this issue. Could this be because Islington's Christians are vastly outnumbered by other faiths who are more than capable of creating a stink and shouting the 'R' word (racist) from the roof tops?

It is after all the favoured word which is used by certain sections of our multi-cultural society whenever anyone questions a new rule, a new law, a new demand, the implementation of which will not necessarily suit the majority.

This 'R' word is most often used by the Lib/Left, and it seems must always be used against anyone who stands up for our religion, our culture and our traditions.

The Christian church in this country has, over the past few decades, been infiltrated by liberal/leftist clergy who turn a blind-eye to mixed-race relationships and same-sex marriages.

I dread to think what our grandchildren will have to endure.
