IN 1927 the infant, privately owned British Broadcasting Company was converted to a public corporation under a Royal Charter which required its news programmes to be politically impartial.
When did this requirement cease to exist?
Sneaky Robinson, big brave Jeremy and venomous Kirsty wallow in their stock-in-trade crude vilification, and festering hostility to the two world leaders most committed to the defeat of terrorism, the establishment of a Palestinian state and the spread of free democracy in the Middle East in the cause of our security and a more peaceful world.
Where do they get the authority and encouragement to practise their childish, schoolyard insolence and contempt of our leaders?
They cannot hide the twisted loathing on their faces as they try to turn each news story into another vehicle for their biased attacks, with insulting references to "love-ins", "poodles" and other spurious, clever comments.
Encourage our leaders and fighting forces, not our sworn enemies. You have tried and failed to change our leadership.
We can do that when necessary, thank-you - and you too with a flick of the switch.

York.
