THE house near Selby where the bodies of twin sisters Claire and Diane Sanderson were found is up for sale.
The one-bedroom "quarter house", in the rural village of Camblesforth, is on the market at £73,000 - £3,000 more than a similar home three doors away.
Estate agents Ashtons make no mention of the house's tragic past in the sales brochure.
They describe it as a "beautifully-presented starter home", with double glazing and electric storage heaters.
Speaking today at the company's office, in Finkle Street, Selby, manager Andrew Wilson said he was not prepared to make any comment. He said: "I am looking after the client's interests to sell the property."
The quarter house at 36 Millfield Drive was rented by Claire Sanderson, who worked at Rigid Containers factory, in Selby.
It was on the morning of July 18 that the bodies of Claire and her sister, both 27, were discovered upstairs by their devastated father, George, 56, and Diane's boyfriend, Ian Harrison, of Park Grove, Selby.
Diane was assistant manager at the Roseby's shop, in Market Cross, Selby. Their parents live in East Cowick.
The property at Camblesforth has undergone a makeover since it became the focus of national media attention in July this year.
Mark Hobson, 34, of New Lane, Selby, has been charged with the murder of both sisters and those of pensioners James and Joan Britton, of Strensall, near York. He is due to appear before Leeds Crown Court next month.
