I SINCERELY hope this year's Remembrance Sunday is the last of its kind.
On a Sunday morning, most people need to make little effort to engage in the act of remembrance because they are all still in bed.
With our troops dying on foreign turf again, I ask that next year's commemoration should be, as it always used to be, on November 11.
So what if it means stopping work, stopping traffic or stopping anything else at 11am on a weekday. The ultimate sacrifice British troops past and present have made for us deserves to be taken more infinitely seriously than at present.
