IN Reserve 'A' there were wins for the top three sides. Dringhouses, unbeaten since their opening fixture, beat Huntington 2-1. Wayne Carter scored both 'Houses goals in the first half with Neil Cadywold replying.

Old Malton beat Dunnington for the second time this season with goals from Tom Moorcroft (2) and Tom Paley making it 3-0.

Kartiers claimed maximum points following their 2-1 win over St John's College. Richard Broadbent scored both for Kartiers and Andy Holt was on target for St John's.

The battle of the bottom two went Copmanthorpe's way as they beat New Earswick 2-0 with goals from Alan Armitage and veteran Darren Starkey.

Bishopthorpe upset league leaders Haxby's promotion aspirations by winning 3-2 for their first away victory of the campaign. Ben Clarke opened the scoring for the visitors but a rocket from Jamie Pulleyn levelled the scores before Paul Jacobs put Haxby, who later missed a penalty, in front. Paul Broadbent made it 2-2 and a late own goal gave Bishopthorpe the win.

Mick Raper gave Easingwold an early lead at Nestl Rowntree but Ken Davies equalised. Nestl's winner came on 72 minutes when Steve Fratson's shot rebounded for Lee McQuade to score.

Last week Hamilton Panthers were knocked out of the Reserve Cup 6-2 by Poppleton, but revenge was sweet as they claimed the Reserve 'B' league points by winning 3-1 with goals from Craig Fletcher and Neil Hartley (2).

Amotherby converted two penalties and missed one in their 5-0 win at Wilberfoss.

Andrew Slaughter and John Dunning were both successful from the spot with the other goals coming from Shane Ogley, Jamie Dawson and Liam Wrap.

The last 100 per cent record fell on Saturday as Reserve 'D' leaders Norwich Union were beaten by ten-man Ouseburn. Will Moss was sent off but Ouseburn still managed to win after a Lance Cameron strike.

Kevin Guppy put Heworth in front at LNER Builders but Builders hit four from Paul Crossby, two from Ian Scott, and Stuart Richardson. James Beaumont snatched a late one to make it 4-2. Huby beat Civil Service 3-0 in the other fixture.

In the Reserve Cup, Tockwith beat Heslington 3-1. John Paul Stevenson hit Heslington's consolation.
