FOR the past three weeks I have used the castle car park on an evening. The ticket machines will not accept resident user so I've had to pay full price, ("Just the ticket", Letters November 9).
I reported this fact, and also how dark it is near these machines, to Peter Evely on Tuesday, October 26. These machines were still not working by Monday, November 8.
I have three weeks' proof of these ticket machines not working correctly.
After speaking to Mr Evely again on Tuesday, November 9 he seems to think it's only me who has a problem. Maybe he should try using them himself.
I suggest anyone else who has been overcharged should contact the Evening Press to prove I'm not the only one who is being ripped off by the parking in York.
