I APPRECIATE Mr Wilkinson's concern with the authorities' lack of action over the York litter problem (Letters, November 8). Perhaps the very falling of the autumn leaves may well annoy him.
Litter is visible - consider instead the insidious, health damaging litter of exhaust by-products and carnage created by the huge amounts of road traffic (much unwarranted, no doubt). Which is the most urgent problem to tackle?
